Remember the Jack-O-Lantern paint spec in which McLaren introduced the new Senna hypercar? Yeah, we might pass on that one, too, because this all-black Senna spied at a gas station looks leagues better. Posted to Instagram by Luke Papworth, this 720S-based race car for the streets is only one of 500 cars to be built — a rare sight indeed.

Hyper- and supercars like this always look better outside the contained studios they’re photographed in, and we can’t wait to actually witness one fly by on the road (or track) after seeing this. The Senna makes 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. More sharp edges than typical McLarens adorn this car because of the mad aero equipment; even the prominently displayed triple pentagonal-shaped exhaust tips scream hardcore.

While it might not be an actual F1 successor, it’s the highest performing McLaren ever built — and now we want to see it in the rest of its available colors.
