Let’s be clear: the Sony SRS-XB41 isn’t being discounted because it’s a bad speaker. Far from it. It’s a prime competitor to other large, quality portable speakers, like the UE Megablast ($298 $191) and Bose SoundLink Revolve Plus ($299 $269), which are also being discounted for summer. As for the Sony SRS-XB41, it’s more flashy and feature-packed than those other speakers by Bose and UE, admittedly, but you can turn off all its lights via the speaker’s companion app if you want.
