During the March Contemporary Art Evening Sale in New York, the celebrated modern art auctioneers, Phillips de Pury, auctioned off a Mad Max style, back-to-front custom Maybach belonging to Jay-Z.

The whacky and pimped out custom Maybach cost upwards of $300,000 to build and was estimated to be worth $100,000 – 150,000.

The lack of popularity of Maybachs proved strong still. The car sold for a less than disgraceful $60,000. Even the proceeds going to charity couldn’t force this car on someone for more than that.
