Update: This Amazon ‘Deal of the Day’ has expired. The price of LG UltraFine 4K displays (manufacturer refurbished) is now back up to $350.
These LG UltraFine 4K displays are what we use in our office. They’re terrific because they only require a single USB-C cable to connect and charge your MacBook or MacBook Pro, or any new laptop with a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port; plus they can charge, via three other USB-C ports on the back of each monitor, your other devices — no extra adapters needed.
Of course, the picture is the other big thing here. At 219 pixels per inch, these LG UltraFine displays are able to deliver a stunning 4K picture that’s over four times what you’d get from an old-school HD display. Essentially, if you just bought a new MacBook Pro or a new Windows 10 laptop (which pretty much all charge via a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port), this is the perfect external monitor to partner it with. And now you can buy one for really cheap.
You can find these LG UltraFine 4K Displays on Apple’s website for $700 each. That ain’t cheap. But today — and today only — Amazon is offering these 21.5-inch monitors for just $200. That’s a fraction of what you’d normally pay. It’s worth mentioning that Amazon is selling displays that have been manufacturer refurbished, so they aren’t brand new. But factor that alongside a 90-day warranty, and this is a deal that’s almost too good to pass up. Especially if you’ve been in the market for a 4K external display for a while.
