The Best Entry-Level Smartwatch

Amazon is selling the Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm) for $169, which is $30 cheaper than Apple is currently selling it and $10 cheaper than Amazon has ever sold it. If you’ve been thinking about buying an entry-level Apple Watch (or you know somebody who would like one), now is the best time to buy one.

Obviously, the Series 3 is not Apple’s latest and greatest smartwatch; that title belongs to the Series 5. The Series 5 has a faster processor, larger and always-on display and it comes with a little more health features (like fall detection and a built-in EKG), but the Series 3 is still a very good smartwatch. It runs on the same WatchOS and, frankly, most entry-level smartwatch users will use either Apple Watch (Series 3, Series 4 or Series 5) the same way.
