Buck 841 Sprint Pro

For men, there’s always this fascination with knives. Nobody can exactly explain where that desire to own and carry a blade comes from. Perhaps the closest one suggests that there’s this primal need to have something to use for hunting and self-defense. Now, what makes it even easier is the compact and portable form factor of pocket knives. You’ll be amazed at the quality and designs that you can find these days and we’re happy to point out what stands out. So let’s get this show on the road with the Buck 841 Sprint Pro.

When it comes to pocket knives, Buck is an iconic brand that produces some of the best EDC blades out there. The testament to the quality you’re getting is on full display with the 841 Sprint Pro. What you have here is an S30V stainless steel blade boasting a hardness rating of 59-61. This gives the blade superior durability that will keep its edge sharp for a long time.

You’ll be spending more time cutting and slicing stuff up rather than constantly sharpening the knife. Among other things, the shape is quite unique as it sits between being a drop-point or a clip-point but will get the job done otherwise.

Meanwhile, the carbon fiber handles sport an exquisite marble pattern that accentuated with a bright red dot on the pivot. The material not only gives it good looks, but it does shave off some weight without sacrificing its heavy-duty nature. Overall, the Buck 841 Sprint Pro weighs in at just 3.4 ounces. This is one modern folder that will serve its purpose when you need it.

Zero Tolerance 0223 Folding Knife

For manufacturers and designers, inspiration can hit without warning. Sometimes it can even come from the most unlikely of places. WWII is one ugly mark on history, but some of the items from that era have undeniably made its mark on design. Classic aesthetics are popular among collectors and consumers, which is why vintage looks sell. Tim Galyean applies the same concept to create the Zero Tolerance 0223. This folding knife flaunts a retro appearance that manages to stand out with style.

To be specific, this EDC folder bears a resemblance to the iconic fighting knife from Ka-Bar that the U.S. Marine Corps was using at the time. The clip point blade is fashioned from CPM 20CV knife steel. This type of metal boasts superior corrosion-resistance thanks to the high chromium and vanadium content. Moreover, the bead-blasted DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating adds an attractive matte finish. Likewise, you’ll notice that the blade features a cutout for weight reduction and additional jimping on the spine.

Meanwhile, the lightweight titanium handles also sport a layer of DLC to match its blade. What holds the blade in place is a steel lock bar insert. Next, we have a KVT ball-bearing system alongside an ergonomic flipper to make opening the knife buttery smooth. The Zero Tolerance 0223 is equipped with Earth Brown G10 scales that wrap around the handle and contours along with its shape. This EDC folding knife measures about 5 inches when closed and 8.6 inches while open with a weight of 4.7 ounces. You can place your pre-orders now via the official website.

Ti2 Design STRATO-Biner Carabiner

There’s no shortage of awesome EDC gadgets available that can be quite useful in certain situations. It can range from multi-tools, pens, flashlights, and so much more. There’s no limit to how many you want to bring along as you have a good way to organize everything. Most of these items normally can be attached to your keychain for convenience. Meanwhile, there are those who prefer to use a carabiner to hold all of their EDCs together. No matter what you opt to use, the Ti2 Design STRATO-Biner is a stylish product that will organize all of your tools.

The name of this EDC carabiner originates from the word “stratum” which roughly means layers on top of another.” Designed by Mike Bond, he reveals that the inspiration for the STRATO-Biner comes from his love of knives. Specifically, the ones that feature a liner lock that holds the blades in place.

There will be two variants available that will feature different metals for the core. The first one uses grade-5 6Al4V titanium alloy for its lightweight characteristics and durability. Meanwhile, the second model is made from 17-4 heat-treated tool-grade stainless steel. Additionally, the stainless steel version features a pry bar and extra jimping around the key ring hole.

To make the Ti2 Design STRATO-Biner even more attractive, buyers can choose what type of metal they want for the scales. After selecting the core type, you can pair it with titanium, brass, copper, or zirconium. Another cool component is the asymmetrical gate, which also uses grade-5 6Al4V titanium alloy. The ambidextrous design makes it easy to operate using your left or right hand.

With a size that’s just a little over that of a AA battery, you can easily clip it to your bag, belt loop, or keychain. That way, in low-light or dark environments, you’ll always have a source a form of illumination handy. It’s powered by one AAA battery and clocks in at just 0.16 ounces, which means that you can barely feel its weight. The SureFire Titan equips a high-performance LED with a cutting-edge reflector. The output is a balanced beam of light which the brand labels as MaxVision. G.R.A.D. MB16F Bayonet-Revolver

Be careful using this everyday carry — it can, and will kill. It’s G.R.A.D.’s MB16F Bayonet-Revolver, and as the name suggests, it’s a sleekly sinister knife and revolver hybrid.

Name a more formidable match-up, we dare you. Can’t think of one? Well, that’s because there’s probably none as battlefield-proof as this one. Sure, it doesn’t seem all that useful and practical for everyday use. This is really better suited for wartime applications, to be honest. But that doesn’t mean you can admire the craftsmanship behind this bad boy.

Its M16/AR15-compatible construction is enough to keep mouths ajar. There’s a workhorse blade measuring over 5.6 inches long. And the main event is a .22 LR six-shot revolver hidden within the handle. It’s completely functional via a low-profile trigger. You access that via an unlocking mechanism built into the hilt.

The model featured above remains unfired, though. Global Research And Development doesn’t produce this anymore, sad to say. So, this might be your only chance to own one of the most unique firearms we’ve ever come across. And should you win the auction, you must get a BATF approval, too.

The MB16F Bayonet-Revolver is expected to go for between $1,500 to $2,000. If you think that’s too pricey, you’re welcome to balk. But if for you that’s a small price to pay for a brutalist’s dream knife, bid away. There’s 22 days on the clock left, and the bid as of writing is $750. Your move.
